PrepNova is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) practice platform built to help JAMB and Post-UTME aspirants prepare for their exams in the exact format they'll face on the real day, for any Nigerian university. Instead of cramming from textbooks alone, aspirants get to practice answering questions on a screen, under timed conditions, just like the actual exam.

1. Information We Collect

When you register on PrepNova, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number. We also collect usage data such as practice session results, scores, and the subjects you study, to personalise your learning experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to create and manage your account, track your academic progress, send important updates about the platform, and improve our question bank and features. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure). We use industry-standard encryption and authentication measures. Access to your account is protected by your password, and we strongly recommend you choose a strong, unique password.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

PrepNova uses browser local storage to remember your session and preferences (such as your name and logged-in state). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Firebase (Authentication & Firestore) for account management, and manual bank transfer for payment processing. These providers have their own privacy policies and handle data in accordance with applicable law.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us at prepnovasupport@gmail.com. We will process your request within 14 days.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of any material changes via email or an in-app notice.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PrepNova, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

PrepNova is intended for candidates preparing for JAMB (UTME), Post-UTME examinations, and other university entrance assessments in Nigeria. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You must not share your account with other users. Each subscription is for a single user only. Any account found to be shared may be suspended without refund.

4. Premium Subscription & Payments

Access to premium features requires a one-time activation fee, as shown in the Activate Premium screen at the time of payment. Payment can be made via bank transfer or other supported methods. Upon confirmed payment and manual activation by our team, your account will be upgraded. Activation typically occurs within 24 hours on business days.

5. Refund Policy

Because PrepNova provides immediate access to digital study materials upon activation, all payments are final and non-refundable once your account has been activated. If you experience a technical issue preventing access, please contact our support team promptly.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on PrepNova — including practice questions, study notes, and current affairs articles — is the property of PrepNova or its content partners. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or resell any content without written permission.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform; post abusive content in any community feature; or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

PrepNova provides study materials to support your exam preparation. We do not guarantee admission or any particular exam outcome. The platform is provided "as is" and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
